I just received my dds girl-sized chocolate cherry outfits. WOW! I haven't seen any reviews of these outfits so I will post my own.
I didn't really like them at first, even after I saw them in the catalog but my dds LOVED them. In person, these outfits are quite elegant. The color combination and textures of these outfits couldn't be more perfect. The red is a deeper red than I anticipated and the brown is also a richer brown that isn't captured in the pictures in the catalog.
The girl-sized dress surprised me. Did you know that the dress has a removable collar and wristbands? So, in other words, the dress can go a long way--you aren't tied to the faux animal look after all (unlike the doll outfit which has the fur parts sewn on). This $79 dress is quite versatile! The skirt portion has two extra layers and is very pouffy (just like the girl-sized Bitty skirt). The only downside is that the wristbands keep coming off--the velcro doesn't hold them too well. At least the collar has a snap that secures it to the dress. I will have to figure out a way to secure the wristbands. Nevertheless, A+.
The girl sized Bitty outfit is cute, too. I love the skirt because it has that peekaboo portion at the bottom and it is so feminine and pretty. The cardigan is also cute, but I don't care for the buttons. They feel cheapy and they don't unbutton well. Skirt A, Cardigan B.
BTW, I'll warn you that these outfits run SMALL. My teeny 9 year old fit a size 12! and my hefty 3 year old is just making it in a 6X. I highly recommend both the girl and Bitty/girl outfits. especially for the holidays. Classic AG, ultra soft fabric, sure to be an eye-catcher.

Diana loves these outfits, and is totally into anything "cheetah".
I'm sure your girls will look so pretty!

They looked nice when I saw them at AGP - I know Kamilla loves the dress, but I didn't like that it's 100% plastic.

My girls want these, too.
When you say they run small, do you mean using the measurements in the catalog, your girls are wearing larger sizes than they usually do? Or do you mean that I better add a size to what they usually wear in normal clothes?

Linda, I would recommend going one size up for either of these outfits. Hope that helps!

AG sizes really do run strange. DD's size 3 fall leaves outfit's pants are now capris, but the size 4 princess dress drags the ground.

Thanks for the review. Do you have photos of what the dress looks like without the collar?
I want to get one for my dolls, but I also abhor cheetah print- if anyone has bought it and knows how the dress looks w/o the collar, I'd very much appreciate a photo or description.

AG clothing is very small! My 22 month daughter who weighs 22 lbs wears the size 3 blooms dress no problem!
Rachel is 50 lbs and wears a 7/8 but in AG wears about a 12!!
I have complained a few times to AG about the weird clothing sizes

Colette, I just noticed that there is a beautiful close up picture of the chocolate cherry dress in the newest AG catalog with the two girls and horse on the cover. The dress is shown without the cheetah paraphernalia and I almost didn't recognize it. Its very elegant and can be dressed up or down with additional non-cheetah accessories.
Is anyone able to scan this picture (appears on the back page of the newest catalog) for Colette?
